My Background

I started one of the first photography galleries in Stockholm 1996,
called Galleri Bilder Till Salu, together with a colleague.
The focus was on the Swedish amazing strong photographers through the ages.
At that time we had been working in the commercial industry as stylists for over 10 years.
We saw an opportunity to create the space together with all the connections we had with
the photographers and their desire to exhibit their own art.
One of the first exhibitions was with Christer Strömholm.
“Christer and friends” a collection of fantastic Swedish photographers like
Christer Strömholm, Anders Petersen, Tuja Lindström, Stina Brockman,
Kenneth Gustavsson, Nina Korhonen, Örjan Kristenson,
Moona Björklund, Angelica Julner.
Next was a historical exhibition with Henry B. Goodwin with
his 32 photogravures of stunning Stockholm motives from 1920.
Another interesting historical exhibition at the gallery was by Benno Movin-Hermes's portraits of young children. Who among others things, but above all, had portrayed the royal family children in the 1950.
I continued having the gallery location open up until 2007.
After that I have been selling photography art directly to costumers,
curated exhibitions and have had lectures in photography art.
My main photographer I am representing today is Kirsty Mitchell Photography.
Contact me for more information and help to buy her work.
The gallery always had art for sale in between exhibitions.
There was a constant mix of framed photos ready to be sold on the shelves.
