Content and objectives
Try a new approach with clay and sculpting. A process of spontaneous creativity based on harmony and
awareness, of both oneself and the group one works with. You will be guided through your unique
creativity all the way from the first rough shape to a final and clearly expressed form.
Arrangement
The course is divided into several sessions, each of which begins with a shorter meditation.
The form of meditation is based, among other things, on the power of inhalation and exhalation.
Previous knowledge
No previous experience of working with clay or other specific skills is necessary to participate.

This is a new online class for you who wants to continue sculpting more regularly and from your own home.
My Background
Rebecka Dahlén works as a sculptor. In 1993 she met the italian sculptor Franca Basevi from Italy, who had developed her own school of sculpture. Rebecka Dahlén has regularly worked together with Franca Basevi in her studio in Florence. They became close friends and Franca became Rebecka's teacher and consciousness guide. Franca Basevi always called the clay "Earth". An encounter with what we come from as humans.
In meditation and silence and with focus on the breathing the sculptor meets his inner world and
the sculptures become representations of inner images more than of external motifs.
Rebecka Dahlén is part of Grupp Scultura, formed in 1996, which now consists of nine women
who work regularly with sculpture and guidance in clay and meditation, so called "Conversation in clay".
Franca Basevi passed away in 2002, then 72 yo, but her fascinating work with sculpture and
consciouness is now carried on, among other things, through Grupp Scultura.
